Not going to lie, photographing weddings is hard work. I mean, really hard work. But when there are moments like these, it makes it all worth it and reminds me why I love what I do.

Spent a Saturday in Oakland, IL photographing Annie and Gideon’s DIY vintage wedding. It looked like it was straight off of a Pinterest board- simply beautiful! While it had poured the night before and rained some that morning, the sunshine came out and gave us a warm, sunny afternoon for their outdoor ceremony.

Annie and Gideon were the perfect example of bliss. Between the groom crying when the bride walked down the aisle and the mother/sons’ dance, the day was full of moments that even brought me to tears. Congrats Annie and Gideon! I hope you two enjoy reliving your day through these photos forever.
