The weekend of the fourth was anything but clear skies. I had plans to spend time outdoors and get a tan, however, the weather had other plans and I spent most of my time indoors visiting with family and friends. As the weather was a blessing in disguise for me, it was also a surprising touch to Lyndee’s maternity session at Lincoln Log Cabin.

When we arrived we were worried since it was raining harder than expected, but Lyndee and Nick were such troopers and chose to keep going even with the drizzle and thick, humid air.

Lyndee looked fantastic and Nick looked like a proud father already as they anxiously await the arrival of their little girl.

I could not stop laughing during this session. Lyndee is always so easy to talk to, and Nick was too entertained by the farm animals and cabins for the mood to be anything but light and fun. They said they were awkward in front of the camera and didn’t know how to pose, but the two of them were naturals if you ask me!

Wishing only the best for these two and their future as a family! What a happy time. Thank you both for asking me to capture this precious time in your lives!
