When my husband and I made the move up North, the idea that Chicago would be close by made my photographer heart happy.

Maggie reached out to me after talking to a mutual friend. Thank goodness for him! I got to spend this day downtown photographing this lovely couple’s engagement session- and soon- their wedding! The skyline made for the greatest backdrop. I also got to use my prism for the first time, shout out to these two for being my guinea pigs!

Maggie and Matt both seem so happy together and I loved hearing Matt whisper small nothings and compliments to Maggie throughout the session.

Happy couples like this make my job all worth while. I cannot wait to enjoy Maggie and Matt’s downtown wedding and capture their reception at a city art gallery. Until then, I will be dreaming of November!
